All Hail...It's a Freakin' BOY!
23 March 2012 is the day that officially kicks off our Put Foot Rally experience. The conception of an idea transformed into the birth of an epic journey…After chucking on a collared shirt the team had a heartily meeting with the legends from Big Boy Scooters. The result: 3 x Big Boy Stallions which will lead us to Put Foot greatness! or something like it.
With only 90 something days to the big departure the Buggers are preparing to piece together the machines that’ll rip up the African dirt and blaze the winding trails. Just like our good ol’ chap David Livingstone, except with 7.3 more horses!
Watch out for the next few instalments as we prepare for an African Scooter Dream.

SillyBugger Casualty to the Yellowfever!
It is with much dismay, and much sadness that I announce the loss of a fellow SillyBugger....
He once drank a Clarens Beer Fest dry, a man who has tracked leopard's for 25 years (without an official sighting), a man who has beaten the Zambian president at croquet, a man who rides scooters barefoot and rejoices the threading of stitches. A man who can recite the entire Afrikaans Floek Boek in the time it takes to bungee jump, a man who body surfs staircases and whispers to Gypsies. This is the man who did it "like a CROSSE".
But unfortunately Daranger has caught the "yellowfever" and is no longer with us.
Remember to take your shots kids (preferably straight-face) :)

Beers of the Put Foot Rally
As I’m sure are most of the Put Footers in 2012, I am an avid lover of foreign beer! And as a loyal SAB employee, and Put Foot veteran, I thought it would be fitting to point out to you all the excellence, nay, the extraordinary beer en route Africa’s greatest rally. Let’s start big!

Prost en Nostrovia! I’m not going to waste my time with their “Capital Water”, but man we are going to love the smooth taste of Tafel Lager in Namibia . A couple of ellies, rhinos, and a lion or two at the water hole will be nothing short of magic.

Give that man a LION! Oh yes! Our little visit of Zim means we get to enjoy our old friend Lion Lager once again. It wouldn’t be right if we didn’t cheers a Dutchman or two with the sweet taste of old South Africa , so “Goud van Kleur, Ryk aan Geur!”
Here’s to you, here’s to me, and here’s to a dam bloody fine Put Foot Rally!
