Of Windmills and Scalps…Thank-You

No words can describe the accomplishment of crossing a finish line that concluded the most memorable, giving, and extraordinary trip of a lifetime.

Firstly Daryn Hillhouse has put an event together that is going to grow and grow and benefit so many communities around Africa with the Bob’s For Good Team. For all you followers out there, you cannot miss 2012 rally because it is seriously life enriching! And with the coveted “Spirit of Africa and Gees” Award in Team Silly Buggers hands, we will surely be there next year.

Our beloved vehicle arrived back in Johannesburg clocking exactly 8000km with not a single hick-up. This vehicle has become our absolute pride and joy, and would have not been as impressive without the fantastic work done by Greenstone Autobody in Edenvale. Literally every single person that the Datsun drove past would turn their heads to look at all its glory. We must have had about 12 offers for the car on route! And with our Put Foot family of crews it was like having a ginger Jessica Alba on our team! – Thanks GSAB, and hopefully soon your work will be seen in Getaway Mag and the show.

Thanks Byron Meyers for your superb artwork and stickers on the Thunder Horse. Our “60’s” made us feel like the Dukes of Hazzard at times!

A huge thank you to you guys who donated a bit of moooola to the Bobs For Good Foundation which gave us the opportunity to put hundreds of school shoes on kids feet all over. It is really something special to be apart of!
